Our club recently nominated Paul Gronow for the Volunteer of The Year Award within our District. Paul has undertaken a massive amount of work over the last few years, firstly the instrumental person behind our successful grant for the lights at Windermere, and for the last few years, working extremely long hours on the Clubroom Extensions.
Today, it was announced that Paul has been selected as the Volunteer of The Year Award in the West Perth District. Paul now gets to attend the Sandover Medal Count where the State winner will be announced.

The JKJFC has applied for a Healthy Club Sponsorship for season 2010. Recipients of the Sponsorship, are required to promote a range of Health issues relevant to our club members and supporters. The sponsorship program, managed by Sports Medicine Australia, will assist our Club to implement healthy initiatives and to improve current training and competition initiatives, including sports injury prevention, tobacco control, sun protection, healthy eating and sensible alcohol practices. The JKJFC is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for our members, so please support our Healthy Club. Volunteers are required to help promote the initiatives, rewards will be offered.
